PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION NOTICE
The Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (“PDPA”) which regulates the processing of personal data in commercial transactions applies to Organiser. For the purpose of this notice, the terms “personal data” and “processing” shall have the meaning prescribed in the PDPA.

This written notice serves to inform the delegates that their personal data is being processed by or on behalf of the Organiser.

The personal data processed may include the delegates’ name, contact details, e-mail address, username, password, photographs and video recordings of the delegate and the relevant services provided to any delegate.

The Organiser is processing the delegates’ personal data, including any additional information that a delegate may subsequently provide, for the following purposes (“Purposes”):

To administer the registration of participants for the POC2024;

To develop a database of participants;

To provide information and updates on the next POC2024 and any other conferences or events or products that the delegate may be interested in, to the delegates and other people that the Organiser believes may be interested in such conferences, events or products;

To provide investor and other capital market education events and activities.

The delegates’ personal data is collected from the information that the delegates provided to the Organiser through the registration process.
The delegates may access and request for correction of their personal data and may contact the Organiser with any enquiries or complaints in respect of their personal data as follows:

The Organiser may refuse to comply with a delegate’s request for access or correction to his or her personal data under the PDPA and if the Organiser refuses to comply with such request, it will inform the delegate of their refusal and reason for such refusal.

The delegates’ personal data may be disclosed to the Organiser’s parent company, subsidiaries, related and/or associated company, licensees, business partners, service providers and/or the public at large for any of the above Purposes or any other purpose for which the delegates’ personal data was to be disclosed at the time of its collection or any other purpose directly related to any of the above Purposes.

It is obligatory that the delegates provide the Organiser with the personal data required in the registration form for POC2024.

If the delegates fail to provide the above personal data, the Organiser will not be able to process their registration for POC2024.

The delegates’ personal data may be transferred to a place outside Malaysia.

The delegates hereby consent to the processing of their personal data in accordance with all of the foregoing.
NOTIS DATA PERIBADI
Akta Perlindungan Data Peribadi 2010 (selepas ini dirujuk sebagai “APDP”) yang mengawal selia pemprosesan data peribadi dalam transaksi komersial, merangkumi Penganjur POC2024 (“Penganjur”). Untuk tujuan notis data peribadi ini, terma-terma “data peribadi” dan “pemprosesan” akan mempunyai maksud sepertimana yang ditakrifkan dalam APDP.

Notis data peribadi ini adalah terpakai terhadap mana-mana pihak yang data peribadinya diproses oleh Penganjur.

Data peribadi anda yang diproses termasuk nama, maklumat perhubungan, alamat e-mel, nama pengguna, kata laluan, gambar-gambar dan rakaman video anda dan perkhidmatan yang berkaitan yang diberikan kepada peserta. (“Peserta”).

Penganjur bakal menggunakan data peribadi anda untuk tujuan berikut (secara keseluruhan “Tujuan”):

Untuk pendaftaran Peserta untuk persidangan POC2024;

Untuk mewujudkan direktori atau pangkalan data (“database”) Peserta ;

Untuk memberikan maklumat berkenaan POC2024 tahun depan, persidangan-persidangan, kegiatan-kegiatan dan produk-produk kepada Peserta yang akan berminat dengan kegiatan-kegiatan, program-program, produk-produk dan perkhidmatan tersebut dan orang lain yang Penganjur percayai akan berminat dengan persidangan-persidangan, kegiatan-kegiatan dan produk-produk tersebut;

Untuk memberikan program-program dan aktiviti-aktiviti pendidikan pelaburan dan pasaran modal.

Data peribadi Peserta dikumpul dari proses pendaftaran.

Peserta boleh mengakses dan meminta untuk pembetulan data peribadi Peserta. Sila hubungi Penganjur melalui pos, telefon, faks atau e-mel seperti yang diberikan di bawah sekiranya Peserta mempunyai apa-apa pertanyaan atau aduan berkenaan dengan data peribadi Peserta:

Selaras dengan APDP, Penganjur mungkin mengenakan bayaran untuk memproses permintaan anda untuk mengakses data peribadi anda; dan Penganjur boleh menolak permintaan anda untuk akses atau pembetulan data peribadi anda.

Data peribadi Peserta mungkin dizahirkan kepada syarikat induk, anak-anak syarikat dan syarikat-syarikat berkaitan, pemegang-pemegang lesen, penganjur acara bersama, rakan-rakan kongsi perniagaan, pemberi khidmat Penganjur dan/atau orang awam untuk apa-apa Tujuan yang dinyatakan di atas atau apa-apa tujuan yang baginya data peribadi Peserta hendak dizahirkan pada masa pengumpulannya atau apa-apa tujuan lain yang berhubungan secara langsung dengan mana-mana Tujuan yang dinyatakan di atas.

Adalah wajib untuk anda membekalkan Penganjur dengan data peribadi yang diminta oleh Penganjur dalam pendaftaran untuk persidangan POC2024.

Sekiranya Peserta gagal untuk membekalkan data peribadi yang dinyatakan di atas, Penganjur mungkin tidak dapat memproses data peribadi Peserta untuk pendaftaran persidangan POC2024.

Data peribadi Peserta mungkin akan dihantar atau dipindahkan ke lokasi-lokasi di luar Malaysia.

Dengan membekalkan data peribadi Peserta kepada Penganjur, Peserta dengan ini, membenarkan pemprosesan data peribadi Peserta selaras dengan segala yang dinyatakan di atas.
